Why Burnout Happens
Burnout happens when your body has been in fight-or-flight mode for too long without enough recovery. When you’re constantly pushing, managing, and staying “on,” your nervous system stays activated - and eventually, it can’t sustain that pace anymore.

Instead of just feeling stressed, your system starts to shut things down to protect you. That’s where the numbness, disconnection, and lack of motivation come in. You likely just assume it’s your laziness, but it’s actually your body trying to recover.

I don’t treat burnout as just a mindset issue. We start with your body—because when you’re burned out, your system is often stuck in overdrive or shutdown. We focus first on getting you out of that state and helping your body feel safe, calm, and regulated again.

From there, we layer in the cognitive work—looking at the patterns and beliefs that may have led you here, like tying your worth to productivity or feeling like you have to do everything all at once. We’ll also look at the bigger picture of your life and figure out what needs to shift so you’re not just recovering from burnout—but actually preventing it.

I don’t believe you have to give up your goals or ambition. I believe you can “do it all”—just not all at the same time. Our work focuses on creating more harmony in your life, so things can work together instead of constantly competing for your energy.
